Attorney Metin Serbest is the founder and managing attorney of the Law Offices of Metin Serbest, PLLC, located in Chicago, Illinois. He is admitted to practice law in New York, Washington D.C., and Istanbul and has been actively practicing law since 2012.

He began his legal education at Dicle University Faculty of Law and then graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law. He then completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) program at Northwestern University School of Law, one of the most prestigious law schools in the United States. He moved to the United States in 2000 and currently resides in Chicago.

Throughout his career, Serbest has established a strong legal presence both in the United States and internationally. In addition to his Chicago headquarters, he has established offices in New York, Washington D.C., San Francisco, and, as of 2025, Istanbul, operating across a wide geographical area under the umbrella of “Metin Serbest International Law Offices.” With the opening of the Istanbul office, he has established a strategic bridge between the two legal systems by actively practicing both US and Turkish law.

Areas of practice include corporate and commercial law, international investment and transactions, energy, company formation in the US and visa-related investments (E-2, EB-5, L-1, etc.), sports, arts and media, and international human rights issues.
