    Green Card for Global Corporate Leaders

    The EB-1C immigrant visa allows executives and managers of multinational companies to obtain U.S. permanent residence. It is specifically designed for individuals who have led or managed an international business and are being transferred to a related U.S. entity.

    Eligibility Requirements

    To qualify, you must:

    1. Have been employed outside the United States for at least one of the past three years by a qualifying organization (parent, branch, subsidiary, or affiliate);
    2. Be seeking to enter the U.S. to work in a managerial or executive capacity for the same employer or its affiliate; and
    3. The U.S. employer must have been doing business for at least one year.

    Definition of Managerial or Executive Capacity

    Managerial Capacity:
    Directing the organization or a key component, supervising professional employees, and exercising authority over operations or budgets.

    Executive Capacity:
    Making high-level decisions, establishing goals and policies, and receiving only general direction from higher executives or board members.

    Employer Sponsorship and Filing Process

    • The U.S. employer must file Form I-140 on behalf of the beneficiary.
    • The employer must show a qualifying corporate relationship and ability to pay the offered wage.
    • No labor certification (PERM) is required.

    This category is often used by L-1A visa holders seeking permanent residence.
